Naruto Shippuden


Naruto Shippuden (aka: Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles) takes place 2 1/2 years after Naruto leaves to train with Jiraiya. Upon his return, Naruto finds out that everyone has surpassed him in rank, and he\'s fallen behind. However, with only 6 months left to rescue Sasuke, Naruto must face even more dangerous enemies. As Akatsuki\'s plan unfolds, and Naruto slowly loses himself to the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, it becomes clear that more dangers await Naruto than ever before!

The seemingly emotionless Sai reveals to Naruto that he does have emotions after all. But what will happen when Orochimaru appears before the two?

Kabuto comes to Sai's rescue and mocks Naruto's futile attempts at trying to save Sasuke. While Naruto and the group prepare to deal with Kabuto, Sai does something completely unexpected.

After successfully stopping Naruto, Yamato and Sakura see firsthand the damage Kyubi's chakra has inflicted upon his body. As Yamato witnesses Sakura's true feelings for Naruto, Sai confronts Orochimaru.

As the battle between Naruto and Orochimaru drags on, Sakura witnesses the horrifying transformation Naruto has undergone and foolishly attempts to stop him. But when she becomes the target of Naruto's attacks herself, Yamato is forced to intervene.

S2E11 The Top-Secret Mission Begins
Pushed even further by Orochimaru, Naruto undergoes a horrific transformation as the dreaded fourth tail forms. Passing through the bars and into Kyubi's clutches, Naruto becomes a miniature demon fox himself, unable to tell friend from foe. Luckily for everyone, Orochimaru is directly in his path. Meanwhile, Sai ditches Yamato and Sakura to do a mission of his own.

When Orochimaru angers Naruto with his talk of Sasuke, Naruto unlocks Kyubi's third tail and does battle with Orochimaru, but will even this be enough to defeat one of the Legendary Sannin?

S2E9 The Bridge of Heaven and Earth
The time has finally come to meet with Sasori's spy. As Yamato, disguised as Sasori, meets with the spy on the bridge, the group is shocked to discover the spy's true identity. Unbeknownst to everyone, Orochimaru is watching, and he is intends to put to a stop to this little betrayal.

S2E8 Simulated Combat Training
In order to grasp his team's abilities, Yamato asks Naruto, Sakura, and Sai to try and capture him. Can they capture Yamato when Naruto and Sai can't even work together?

S2E7 Untitled
When Sakura spots Sai painting, she sees that he has a soft side and attempts to learn more about him. Later that night, the group prepares for their upcoming meeting with Sasori's spy, with Yamato planning on impersonating Sasori. Meanwhile, Sasori's spy walks through the darkness, heading towards the Bridge of Heaven and Earth.

S2E6 The Fake Smile
As Yamato leads the new Team Kakashi, he notices that Naruto and Sakura are not getting along too well with Sai. When Sai goes too far by insulting Sasuke in front of Naruto and Sakura, Yamato takes the group to a hot springs in an attempt to relieve some tension in the group

S2E5 An Unnecessary Addition
As the new Team Kakashi gets acquainted, Sai does not make a good first impression in front of Naruto and Sakura. As the group prepares to leave, Sai receives a mysterious order involving the current mission. Meanwhile, Yamato, Tsunade, and Shizune visit Kakashi, where Jiraiya reveals some startling information about Naruto.

S2E4 Formation! New Team Kakashi
With the help of some old friends, Naruto manages to force the boy to retreat. However, things go from bad to worse for Naruto as the boy that just attacked him is assigned to join Team Kakashi. His name is Sai, and he is a member of the ANBU Roots. In addition, due to Kakashi's injuries, an ANBU member known as Yamato takes his place as the team leader. How will Naruto and Sakura get along with the new Team Kakashi?

S2E3 The New Target
Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi return to Konoha after completing their mission, but Naruto needs to find a new member for their team if they want to go meet with Sasori's spy. As Naruto desperately seeks out a new team member, a mysterious boy with strange abilities attacks him.

S2E2 Return of the Kazekage
Now that Gaara's been revived, the Hidden Sand Village slowly begins to return to normal. It's time for the ninja of Konoha to take their leave, and Naruto shows Gaara how friends say goodbye. Meanwhile, a mysterious ninja tries to join Akatsuki.

S2E1 Those Who Inherit
Gaara's body has finally been recovered, and Chiyo determines that there is only one way to save him. It's up to her and the entire village to prove to Gaara that he is loved, and Naruto shows Gaara that he does have a friend.
